Change is the very nature of the Internet. And those that just happen to be in the right place each time the Internet changes directions are the ones that tend to make money online.

Predicting how the Internet is going to change next is the hard part, with so many people pulling it in so many different directions.

But there is a big change coming that is inevitable and you can be a part of it.

The change . . .

Subscription based and pay-per-view sites!

OK, so this is may not be the most earth shattering news you’ve heard but it is the new reality.

In the next 24 months you’re going to see that the most successful internet sites (in terms of profit) will be those that begin charging a fee for customers to enter.

Are people willing to pay to view a website?

You bet! It’s already happening – especially with high value sites where customers see a real benefit in getting information and products that the general public can’t get to. In fact, the average price for a subscription based site is now well over $200 a year.

Customers are happy to pay for exclusivity of information and products.

Your Opportunity

OK, maybe you agree that it’s inevitable that subscription and pay-per-view sites will become the standard on the net.

But the question is how can you benefit from it? How can you make money working online with this new reality?

Well, there are many different ways to benefit but the easiest ways by far will be…

  • Positioning yourself as a facilitator, as someone who can show others how to create their own subscription or pay-per-view sites.
  • Positioning yourself as a supplier of tools, someone who knows what tools are needed and how to install them.
  • Positioning yourself as a supplier or creator of the kind of content needed to attract subscribers (video, audio, reports, columns, software, etc.).
  • Positioning yourself as someone who can offer training seminars showing others how to develop and manage PPV or subscription sites.
  • Positioning yourself as someone with a subscription web site affiliate program that pays a commission for attracting new subscribers to sites.
  • Positioning yourself as an early example of a pay-per-view site with specialty content.

These are just the tip of the iceberg. There are many more ways to make money in the world of PPV websites, but to understand their importance you have to try to set up and run a subscription or pay-per-view site of your own.

May your success be more than you can hold!

Man… the internet changes SOOOO FAST!!! to keep up with it is sort of hard sometimes… but fun at the same time!

Thanks for the tips

This is a very important fact!

Just like a doctor need to be uptodate with seminars and stuff and changes we MARKETERS need to be up to date with what happens online

Personally I think it depends on the market you are targeting and what resoources are available which will determine if you can have a pay site. However, if you are able to adminster a successful pay site, then it can make you some serious profits.
